Questions Parents Ask
What ages do you work with?
We support children, adolescents and teens from 18 months to 21 years old, one of the widest age ranges in the area.
Do you accept insurance?
We provide insurance guidance and assistance as part of intake, and we'll help you understand your coverage before anything starts. We accept all major commercial insurance, GA Medicaid, and Georgia Medicaid CMOs.
How quickly can my child start?
There's currently no waitlist. After your assessment, we move to a personalized treatment plan and services as quickly as possible. The typical timeframe is 7 to 14 days.
What makes BTS different?
Families choose BTS for the outcomes they see in treatment: stronger communication, greater independence, social development, emotional regulation, confidence, daily living skills, and meaningful long-term progress, not just a list of rooms.
Do you offer home-based services?
Yes. We offer both center-based and home-based ABA therapy depending on what suits your child and family.
How involved are parents?
Parent involvement is an essential part of the BTS model. Progress is strongest when families feel supported, informed, and equipped. BTS provides regular communication, parent training, caregiver support, and practical strategies families can use at home and in the community. The goal is to partner with parents so skills learned in therapy continue beyond the center and become part of everyday life.
Do you work with teens?
We offer specialized services for adolescents and teens up to age 21. Our teen program goes beyond traditional ABA by focusing on real-world success, including executive functioning, independence, self-advocacy, communication, social relationships, emotional regulation, vocational readiness, community participation, and daily living skills. Whether preparing for greater independence at home, employment, post-secondary education, or adult life, individualized programs equip teens with the skills they need to thrive with confidence.
